Two-Year LL.M. Course
These regulations shall be called the regulations relating to LL.M. 2 year Master Degree Course in Law.
For LL.M. Course, there are dissertation papers which are evaluated with Externals (by University Rule).The College has got Autonomy in the LL.M. course from the University to take/ organize the semester examinations and other administrative/examination matters.
Eligibility for admission :
Two Year LL.M. Course (Four Semester Course): A candidate aspiring to get admission for the LL.M Course of the College is required to have passed the LL.B. (Graduate examination in Law) with not less than 50% marks for General Students and 45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC students. There is no age bar for admission in LL.M course.
DURATION OF COURSE:
The duration of the course shall be of Two years comprising of 4 (four) semesters.
No student shall be allowed to take the end semester written examination if the student concerned has not attended minimum 75 % of the classes held in the subject concerned as also moot court exercises, practical training etc. taken together.
The subjects and papers for the course shall be prescribed by the Vidyasagar University from time to time in accordance with the rules of the Bar Council of India.
