The significance of library increases when an academic institute imparts higher learning which would require elevated acquaintance of knowledge and high mindedness to achieve wisdom in the subject — good library facilities would be considered as the source of these parameters in academics. Haldia Law College is endowed with a vast set of nationally and internationally published books and journal facilities (which included Harvard Law Review, Yale Law Journal, Bar Review, etc) because Law is such kind of discipline in academics where teachers and students have to depend greatly on library resources to keep themselves updated by referring to current evidences from documents of current books and journals (both hard and soft copies). All these are available in Haldia Law College library in the forms of voluminous law books, old and latest reports, as well as current and back issues of journals. The College also provides free internet with Wi-Fi facilities to the students.
A fully air conditioned and 300 seat centralized Mini Auditorium of 4200 sqft is ideal for a seminar or conference or Video Conference.
The hostel facilities are provided by ICARE, the parent body of the College. ICARE is providing and managing separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are supervised by the hostel Superintendents / Wardens. The hostels are located at the vicinity of the College. The hostel facilities include furnished rooms with cot, mattress, reading table and chair.
Facility: Foot ball, cricket bat, pad and ball and gloves, provision for stage, watering, volley ball net. Jersey is provided at the time of tournament. An annual sport is conducted every year. Indoor games: Badminton, Carrom, Table Tennis and Chess Outdoor games: Foot Ball, Cricket, Volleyball and Annual Sport is conducted every year. Events: Haldia Law College conducts seminars in the National and International categories. The institute also conducts yearly orientation day in it’s premises.
The College has one grand moot court hall of its own, named Mahatma Gandhi Moot Court Hall, which is used to get the students prepared for court room practices. The students of Haldia Law College have proved their remarkable performances in moot-court competitions at all-India level being organized by different Institutions/Universities as well as National Law Schools.
