Eligibility for Admission :
5 years B.A.LL.B. Course:A candidate, aspiring to get admission for the 5 years Law Course, has to pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 45 % marks in aggregate. For SC/ST candidates, he/she is required to obtain not less than 40 % marks in aggregate at the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination and for OBC candidates, he/she is required to have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 42% Marks.
Duration of Course:
The duration of the course shall be of five years comprising of 10 (ten) semesters.
Attendence :
No student shall be allowed to take the end semester written examination if the student has not secured minimum 70% of attendance held in the subject concerned as also moot court exercises, practical training etc. taken together.
Curriculum :
The subjects and papers for the course shall be prescribed by the Vidyasagar University from time to time in accordance with the rules of the Bar Council of India.
