Dr. Pratim Sarkar

Dr. Pratim Sarkar is presently working as an Associate Professor of Haldia Law College, affiliated to Vidyasagar University, West Bengal. During his service tenure, he held the position of Principal-in-Charge of Haldia Law College for period of one year and four months. He has secured First Class First position and awarded Gold Medal in LL.M and successfully completed his Ph.D. from the University of Burdwan. He has published more than 25 papers in various national journals and edited books. In addition to that, he has published a book titled “Poverty Alleviation Workfare Schemes (MGNREGA during Covid -19 Lockdown Period). Dr. Sarkar was the convener and co-convener of National & International Seminars and webinars. He has participated and presented paper in more than 15 seminars and conferences. His areas of interest are Family Law, Law and Social Transformation, Constitutional Law and Human Rights Law.
