Dr. Amritaa Dutta

Dr. Amritaa Dutta is presently working at Haldia Law College, affiliated under Vidyasagar University as an Assistant Professor of Law since September, 2014. She had completed B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from S.K. Acharya Institute of Law under University of Kalyani in the academic session 2006-2011 and LL.M. with specialisation in Business Law from Haldia Law College under Vidyasagar University in the academic session 2011-2013. She has also done a Three months Course from Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi on Intellectual Property Rights in the year 2013. She has been awarded with Ph.D. Degree in the year 2026 from Department of Law, The University of Burdwan, Bardhaman, West Bengal. Dr. Dutta has many publications to her credit in several Journals, Peer Reviewed Journals and has contributed several book chapters in many edited books. Her area of interest includes: Criminal Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, Constitutional Law, Human Rights, Environmental Law.
